Karen M. Rizzo is the President and owner of Township Property Finance and has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Township Property Finance is a professional residential real estate financial center. Karen differentiated herself from her competition through her holistic approach to mortgage lending and extensive industry knowledge and insight.
Karen offers expert education and consultation to both new and seasoned real estate investors, including complete portfolio creation and maintenance, long-term real estate financial planning and mortgage financing.
After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business at the Hofstra University, Karen continued her education earning several certificates and completed industry-related classes at New York Institute of Technology, Nassau Community College, C.W. Post College, The Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design, and The Mountain Institute of Tribeca. She completed her licensing curriculum at the Real Estate Training Center (RETC), where she taught both the Real Estate Agent Licensing course and the Mortgage Brokers Course.
In addition to her business degree, Karen has and Associate degree in International Marketing and Design. She is a licensed real estate agent as well as a Certified Feng Shui Practioner. Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space, which is claimed to achieve harmony with the environment.
At Township Property Finance, Karen is responsible for all major efforts and functions within her company. Karen handles mortgage originations as well as sales, marketing and consulting. Karen does her own recruiting and training of all sales personnel while managing compliance records and banking regulations.
Karen reinforced her knowledge and experience in the mortgage and real estate industry as teacher of “Mortgage Professional” training courses. The classes Karen instructed covered various subjects relating to loan originations, banking rules and regulations and other issues of interest to both real estate professionals and mortgage brokers.
Most all of Township’s clients come by the way of referral, which is a testament to her networking abilities. Over the past 20+ years, she has maintained an excellent reputation in the mortgage business and with the New York State Banking Department.
